Another hard to swallow entry in the series, but not nearly as difficult as the first. The book mostly revolves around Jacob and Belle which is more interesting. It’s strange to me that again Meyers sets up Belle with a bad influence-“not good for you”-type guy. In a later book, he straight up sexually assaults belle and it’s just shrugged off. Belles dad applauds him for forcing himself on her, and then applauds her for attempting to punch him…

This was a re-read for me. For some reason I have just really been in the mood to re-read the Twilight Saga so you can expect to see the next two books pop up some time soon.
Re-reading this book made me realise how much I like Jacob and how much I dislike Edward. However, I also realised how little actually happens in this book. That is to say, besides SPOILER Jacob becoming a werewolf and Bella being really stupid and risking her life to ‘see’ Edward, nothing happens. This book is so dull.
