This is a visually beautifully written book in verse. Unique and a quick read even for its density.

My favorite book of all time. Don’t let the fact that it is not written like most other books scare you. I am horrible at reading poetry or in this case more like free verse, but this was so beautifully written. I felt like I was right there in the book, watching these characters fight for control.  It’s truly beautiful. If you need a good cry, or to feel fully immersed into a book, this is for you.

I'm glad that I listened to the audiobook. Very quick read/listen, but I didn't really find myself invested in the character or her struggles with addiction and the outcome of it. That being said, I don't plan to continue with the series.
