DNF @ 35%, and that's after skimming for about the last 10%. It just wasn't for me, unfortunately.

I don't think I'm a fan of "sticking out abuse because DIQUE." It got tedious. I'd rather Wyn have been forced to work for his boss, not done it voluntarily, and not while ignoring practically everyone in his life telling him to quit.

Wyn is hired as an assistant to Derek. Derek is the ultimate asshole boss who scares everyone but Wyn isn’t going to be intimidated by him. He stands up to Derek and Derek is instantly obsessed with Wyn. I love the way he talks about him.
When Derek’s ex wife confronts Derek on who his plus one is to their son’s wedding. Derek says Wyn.

This book genuinely surprised me. Another case of an audiobook elevating the text because why did I cry to this book 😭😭😭 3 SEPARATE TIMES!! I loved Derek which is so weird to think because at first he annoyed the actually living hell out of me, but his struggles with his homesexulity , with his son, with his ex wife genuinely made me feel things bout this old guy and loved it. I liked Wyn and he's bossy ass, he was absolutely a highlight of humour in the book. Their relationship was soft and cutesy, the paying for sex thing not withstanding and I genuinely believed they loved each other at the end.

This story was easily the cutest freaking thing. The smut was incredible but the love, omg, it was everything beautiful and wonderful. I also ADORED the Miller and Ryan we got in this story and the other characters from the situationship books. So beautiful, I loved it so much.

SO GOOD . it got so cheesy in the end but i love it because its wyn’s dream basically. its much less intense than rent: paid in full because wyn is just adorable and derek is a big guy but a real softie but its still so sexy. also derek’s connection to his ex wife and miller is just so heartwarming.

Another great book, funny and sweet and hot. Slightly too much secondhand embarrassment for me and for some reason a small small teeny tiny ick feeling sometimes, but overall I loved these two together, and it was a really sweet ending for the Dark Lord.

Note to self: you may have a problem.

Idk why I loved the walking red flag of this book but I did. Wyn being tricked into a job then tricked into planning a wedding and tricked into having his boss pay him for sex sounds like an awful plot. And yet? I was here for every toxic moment.

The ridiculous amounts for each act. The pet names. The secret handshake with the ex wife. The wooing. The proposal. The goo. I found myself giggling and kicking my feet reading this one.
