I don't really understand why my kids like learning about teeth so much, but this and the The Tooth Book have captured my kids' imaginations. Sort of like the Cat in the Hat Library books, this isn't the best for structured learning, but is a fun read that teaches a few things, too.

What a fun way to teach kids about differences between not only their own teeth, but those of animals! Monarch 2019 nominee.

Great information about mammal teeth. Includes a glossary and suggested further reading. The 7 year old picked it out and was not disappointed.

This would be a fantastic supplement to learning about mammals. Super cute for first timers going to the dentist!

This is a fun book kids will like. Ties into science, animal adaptations etc.

Usually books about teeth for kids are about hygiene or the tooth fairy, the kind you might find floating around a dentist's office, but this one is really more about the teeth different mammals have and what they are used for, plus a little bit about reptiles and fish teeth. Fairly interesting and somewhat amusing to picture what one would look like with elephant tusks or a narwhal horn.

I never knew a book about teeth would be so fascinating! I knew different teeth had different purposes, but the format of this book made this very engaging.
