It was okay. Seemed to drag in the middle and there's no real explanation for things which is usual for Ito, but here it just worked less

honestly not my fav Junji Ito plot line - characters seemed flat and underdeveloped; plot was rather predictable, making the violence gratuitous (for me) instead of horrifying. 

But that’s just my take!
