[3.5 stars] definitely kinda feels like a filler book that you have to get through, probably because of the lack of percabeth being together but i still had fun

this is way better and more serious than the preceding book. despite having less hilarious moments, it'd still successfully managed to keep me hooked throughout their whole quest. i also liked the introduction of apollo here, he seems to be an interesting character. this convinced me enough to give his series a try again (which i failed to years ago) after i finish pjs.

apart from that, idk if it's a me only thing but i really enjoy chapters or crumbs where gods are gathered for a meeting to reach a decision and all, involving their demigod offsprings.
