I really liked this one! The synopsis was what originally hooked me, but the art style also ended up being stunning. I’m so excited to see what happens in the next volume because that ending!

However about the ending, I’m slightly confused, didn’t the same male character from end also discover Mito was a woman earlier in the story? I could be wrong but I swear he did!

I am super happy I requested this book. It is a neat take on Vampires and blood. The small twist with the protagonist was a surprise and a tad amusing. I can't wait for that to come out and how everything unravels from there. It looks like there could be a love triangle in the future which is a tad disappointing. That trope feels overplayed so much but there's nothing set in ink yet, just a feeling. The author did great with the ending, leaving us wanting more. I will definitely be getting more of these asap!

TW: Suicidal thoughts.

Thank you Netgalley for the eARC! This manga kind of started like Ouran High School Host Club with the vase and cafe which I thought was interesting. I enjoyed this manga and omg Ruka…hot damn… I love how Ruka and Mito are discovering their feelings for each other. Ren is probably included so there’s a possible love triangle in future volumes. I thought it was interesting how Ruka’s friends don’t actually know he’s a vampire, but they all have such a cute dynamic. There were some parts of the story that seemed a bit random, but overall it’s an interesting story and I love the growing chemistry.

So I usually don’t go for a manga with a fantasy creature in the human world, but this one is actually intriguing! I really like the concept of the “fated partner” and how the male love interest doesn’t like women.I also love the gender bender aspect to this! I was SO excited at the end of chapter one when it was revealed!

As always, Toyama has stunning artwork. I seriously can never get over how beautiful it is. And the translation for this manga was very well done too!

I think I’ll be picking up more of this series!

Thank you Netgalley for an eARC in exchange for a review.

This manga was sort of Ouran High School Host Club meets Hana Kimi meets vampires. Vampire Dormitory is set in a fancy boy's dormitory, has a girl who passes for a guy, a hot vampire (and guys in general), and a love triangle?! While the premise seemed really interesting, I just did not get into the actual storyline. It just felt rushed and a bit underwhelming. Mainly, I wished that the Mito and Ruka had time to develop as characters individually before being paired together and that their relationship had a slower start so that it would create more anticipation and tension for the reader. I think the art is gorgeous though.
