'The Sea Road' was a very good tale that transmits the sense of isolation in a norsemen sea trip and how it could lead to madness; beautiful. The core story 'Metal' was sloppy narrated, full of anti-christian discourse sometimes just to have a very clear antagonist, and Black Carl was just your bad of the baddest villain just because; awful, from my POV. The true gem of the book was 'The Girl in the Ice'. Awesome plot, beautifully illustrated and an ending that devastates.
