Really enjoyed reading this book. Very interesting to learn about this time period, with so much scandal and intrigue. I never knew the plights of Henry VIII's women. Makes me want to read a true biography of these ladies. That's saying something since I hardly read non-fiction.

I love Katherine of Aragon but this one took me awhile to read. The format of this book was different than the way that Gregory writes most of her other books I’ve read. The relationship between Arthur and Katherine was enticing, but this one was hard to finish knowing as I already did how Katherine’s story ends.
I read this one last in the tudor series. It was the slowest for me, maybe because Catherine never really struck my interest, But when reading Phillipa Gregory's story. I had a whole new perspective and idea on what or who she could have been. Even though its a fictional story, it was far more interesting then any history book ive read on her!
This is my favourite of the plantagenet series so far. In general, I love how this series slowly makes its way through generations of women on different sides of the war of the roses, and how each book interweaves its characters. However, this was my favourite due to the portrayal of Katherine of Aragon, her love for Arthur and her power over King Henry. Given her survival and coronation against all odds, and victory in what I can assume was a battle that paved the way for todays society, I'm surprised her story is not more well known.
