There is no such thing as goodbye.”

this was the kind of book that made me believe in everything just a little bit more. it was an ode to life, love, grief, spirituality, the mother-daughter relationship, being a therapist, and finding meaning throughout all of it. i feel like claire bidwell smith wrote this specifically for me, and that is one of the most special feelings in the world.

If you are curious as to what goes on when visiting a medium to contact the dead, this book will give some help. This book is a journal of the author's trips to see those who say they can communicate with the deceased. Nothing exciting or particularly interesting happens and I am grateful to the author for showing me that even gifted mediums rarely say anything you didn't already know. Half this book is the author's personal story, which I found uninteresting.
