Enjoyable historical fiction novel that alternates between the perspectives of three different women connected to an underground abortion service in pre-Roe v. Wade Chicago. It explores women's rights without being didactic (mostly). I found it accessible, engaging, and thoughtful, with well-developed characters.

This is a fictional take on the Jane Club (which if you haven't read about, I highly recommend reading "The Story of Jane: The Legendary Underground Feminist Abortion Service") and a quick read. It's pretty incredible that this was a real group of women!
