I F*cks with it Pt.2

I’m not gonna lie that ending was a bit… meh. It kind of fell a little flat—enjoyable but flat.

Other than that, this Duet was pretty good. The characters didn’t piss me off. They did what needed to to be done without all the extraness.

Mara was a cool FMC compared to the ones I’ve read before. She wasn’t trying to be this killer nor was she this golden child. She was perfectly imperfect. She just felt right. There were moments where I felt a bit peeved with her. But those moments were very little and hardly messed up her character

I like the fact that the relationship between Cole and Mara isn’t meant to be romanticized. Yes, there is romance but under no circumstances does the author make it seem like what the characters are doing are remotely reasonable nor sane. They gave me the feeling of Harley Quinn and Joker without the, you know… abuse and what not

just like the first book it could have more spicy but lets just say the if your into thriller definitely read it for the plot for sure it starts slow for sure but lets just say the ending of the was amazing character development was **cheifs kiss**
