I really enjoyed this story of bruja magic, family and identity.
The characters are really interesting, but the romantic relationships lacked some build-up so they weren't as believable as they could have been. The dip into the magic world was quite sudden so it was hard to get into the pace of it, but I really enjoyed the last part of the book, the twist and turns of the quest. I'm excited to read the rest of the series because I'm super interested in the characters of the other two sisters.

This book is popular for a reason! If I could give LABYRINTH LOST higher than a 5-star rating, I would without hesitation. The magic system was such an incredible, immersive thing. The queer rep was *chef’s kiss*! Also, loved how graphic and dark this got at times. Definitely was not expecting it to get as detailed as it did in some parts, but it just added to my love of this novel! Cannot wait to read the other books in this series and see where the story goes.

This was such a good book! I really enjoyed the story and the themes involved. It's all about learning to accept yourself and the importance of a loving family. I did enjoy how this story had supportive family members in it, which feels rare in the YA genre. All I know is that I'm excited to read the sequel!
