4.25 - it was surely a good time and don’t have much complaints. Even though the spice was pretty quick it still gave me a slow burn feel. I love a fictional man who has trouble showing feelings and gets pissed off about having feelings. Also, took the touch her and you die thing to an extreme and let’s just say it did not lose Jeremy Volkov any brownie points.

Jeremy my beloved <3

Going into this, I knew the main male character would be completely unhinged and downright atrocious. And let me tell you, he absolutely lived up to that expectation—but it’s important to note that this guy is nothing like Creighton.

There’s definitely more violence in this one than I’m usually comfortable with, but if you’re reading purely for escapism, this series does an incredible job of pulling you out of your mundane routine and dropping you into a world where everyone is insane.

It’s chaotic, over-the-top, and pure entertainment—perfect for when you need something wildly different.

I am RELUCTANTLY giving this book 4 stars. It was an extremely frustrating read on several levels. IMO Cecily wasn’t even likable until 60% of the way through the book. Also, it should’ve ended about 20% earlier. Like, after he met her parents. Everything outside of Epilogue 2 was unnecessary. And dear GOD, Rina Kent, ENOUGH with the super long friend group scenes that seem to contribute NOTHING to the overall plot line. PLEASE.

That said I did enjoy Jeremy as a character a lot. The spicy scenes were great. I’ve rated slop a lot worse than this 3 stars… so I’m gonna give it a four. But I don’t think I will be reading anything else from Rina Kent for a long while.

It’s a four or three stars. I’m still debating at this moment… I really like Jeremy and Cecilia’s relationship, but I wish it was flushed out more…
