This is my favourite out of the bunch (for now)
I’ve been curious about both Cecily and Jeremy since the first book so its no surprise really that I have enjoyed this the most.
I really am flying through this series, I don’t know what has gotten into me, but ai’m not complaining lol.

3.5 stars. Overall, I enjoyed the continuation of this series, but it was probably my least favorite of the series so far. Cecily had the potential to be my favorite FMC of the series, but her transition from damaged to healed needed to be a bit more gradual. The flip was too sudden and came off unrealistic for the level of damage she was recovering from. Absolutely loved Jeremy, which I didn't think I would, but Killian will always be my #1 with Creighton as a very close second.

This one is hands down my favourite of the series so far. Jeremy fucking Volkov. I’m obsessed. He’s unhinged, possessive, insecure, and those rare glimpses of his cute little teenager delusions. Like the way he twists Cecily’s words into what he wants to hear
Well, she didn’t say it like that exactly, but I choose to believe that.”
Me and you both, Jeremy, me and you both 💖
Jeremy and Cecily’s storyline absolutely broke and melted my heart at the same time. Their love was so cute and so sad, I just wanted to hug them both. And Cecily’s journey?? Beautiful. Watching her grow through her trauma, find strength with Jeremy, but then also show she could heal and carry herself on her own at the end, that was the most heartwarming part for me.
These men in this series are complete red flags in real life, but in a book? I’m dying for it every single time. Jeremy’s obsession with Cecily had me addicted from page one. He’s toxic, terrifying, and yet so full of love for her. My absolute fave.
If I had one gripe though, it’s Jeremy’s whole jealous meltdown over Cecily’s crush on Landon and the initiation. Like… dude. She is literally trying to tell you she loves you and you’re out here acting claiming it’s some game 🙄 That part had me frustrated, and the reconciliation did feel a tad too quick and out of nowhere. But still, the chemistry and the payoff had me glued to the pages 💖💖

So far this is best written book out of the Legacy of Gods Series. My only complaints are that there was nothing in this book that pulled me to tears or laughter to give it that 5th star that I wanted. I also felt that ending prior to the epilogue was incredibly rushed. She could have EASILY added in a few more chapters to extend the fight. I was like, “WTF” with how they got back together in the end. All together though, I think this was Rena’s best story in terms of this series so far.
