I laughed out loud throughout this whole book. Each story was so well crafted and I really enjoyed hearing about SNL, all his travel escapades, his various injuries, and his wild jobs. The story about his mom and 9/11 was really heartbreaking and touching and made me cry.
I could have done without the moments where he is self deprecating about his looks-specifically because it reads to me as very fat phobic. The book did so many things so well so I really hated that this was an element.

The beginning of this book used "retard(ed)" quite a few times and I almost DNFed, but I am glad I did not. The chapter about 9/11 and Jost's mom were incredibly emotional as he spoke about how his mother was impacted by the terrorist attacks. I read this book at the recommendation of a few friends, but had no idea who Colin Jost was as I do not watch SNL. I enjoyed hearing about his life, especially as he narrates the audiobook.
