always loved the movie and finally read the book<3

I liked the book, exept it was kind of slow through out like the whole thing. There were parts I liked, but there were parts that were absolutely miserable, weird and just plain boring, but overall I liked it.

This is one the best best & saddest books I have ever read, I cried all night and can't believe that this is a book I got from school in 6th grade... This I recommend to everybody.

“Like an astronaut wondering about on the moon alone”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

THIS BOOK HAD ME LAUGHING, CRYING, SCREAMING
The only reason it isn’t 5 star was the choice of vocab and some realism inflictions but damn let me go watch the movie now to relive it

used to be one of my favorite movies when I was young, I forgot how sad it was. The book is almost the same like the movie, nothing more or less, however I cried just like I did when I saw the movie for the first time.

When I was a child and watched the movie, I never knew that the book existed. Now I am 23, and I decided to give this book a chance. BAD IDEA. I thought that, due to the fact that it was a children's book, I wouldn't cry or something. I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG. The way I bawled my eyes out with this book is absolutely amazing; I thought that I would run out of tears by reading it. I knew what was going to happen since I saw the movie, but reading it was a completely different experience.
If you read this book when you were a child, I totally recommend it. Reading it when you are an adult provides you with a completely different perspective.

The writing style wasn’t exactly for me, but I got through it and it wasn’t too bad. It was sad meeting Leslie and knowing something bad happens
