It was basically love (or infatuation) at first sight for him. He needs to know that she’s okay anytime he’s not with her. I give any mafia romance 5 stars but I flew through this one. Quick read.

First time author for us, and we really enjoyed our first read by them, and we couldn't put it down. We loved the characters of this story, they were fantastic, light and dark.
Milene was our favorite character, loved her sense of humor her backbone her kindness, how she loved her crazy cats. We also liked her in her pissed off state her horny state, she was quite the character but, most of all, she was a caring and loving kind person. We also loved how she was open to listening about Salvatore's quirks and willing to meet him halfway while he works through some of his issues. Boy, does this man have issues and for most it would be overwhelming but, for Milene we know she is up for the challenge.
Salvatore was dark and dangerous and feared by all, but, his newest obsession is not one of them. Loved the game of cat and mouse he and his wife played it was sensual and fun, and we loved for the fact that he spent the time to woo his wife and not just forced her to take away all of her choices in her new-found life. Salvatore was quite different when he was Milene, still dangerous and protective even obsessive but, it seemed like for the first time in his life her felt something other than darkness within him. Will he be all mushy and the romantic type not likely but, one thing for sure, Milene will always know who she belongs to and will always be cherished, and he will always give his life to protect her own.
A fun and sexy read and full of a ton of chemistry, this couple were a match made in heaven. Their chemistry off the charts, their sexual encounters fun and sexy.
I can't wait to read more in this series. We loved mafia romances with the dark and dangerous villain who falls head over heel with their girl but, what I loved most about this story, it was fun and fresh and made you laugh along with having all those other elements we love. We would love to see more Mafia romances written this way. Milene's sense of humor really is what made this read a 5 stars read, it wasn't all darkness and killing and the same old same old. My kindle is loaded to catch up on this series, can't wait to see what comes next.

milenesalvatore banter was always entertaining, and the sexual tension was sizzling. not as fast-paced as the earlier installments, but still an easy mafia romance read. the epilogue was wholesome, though i felt something missing. salvatore is THAT man, but this would’ve hit harder if he’d gone through therapy.

I'm biting the bars of my enclosure! This book? Sergei who? Mikhail who? Tore took my heart the moment he uttered "vita mia." Like dooonn't talk to me about this man because I will speak about him in only growls and barks. This book - in my opinion - was the spiciest one in the series thus far. And I ate it up! Every second of this book had my full attention. The characters were amazing; the plot twist had me gasping, and then the end?? Don't talk to me! I had suspicions, and to be right about him had me floored! I am very excited to continue this series. Altaj really ate with this book. She unlocked new components that I was not ready for.
I loved how Milene was not intimidated by Tore's demeanor and was being her sassy and defiant self. She was taking zero bullshit, and it was exciting to read. And seeing the way she later grew attentive to Tore and caused everyone to become flabbergasted were the best moments - second to the sexy scenes. I loved the way Tora and Milene's relationship developed and butterflies were fluttering in my stomach multiple times. I'm definitely learning more things about myself because the possessiveness Tore had was making me giddy. Giddy! But the tenderness he grew to have for Milene was just sooo freaking heartwarming. It was to the point that I was fighting back tears.
This book is, without a doubt, a 5-star read for me. Salvatore is now another book boyfriend of mine. I don't know how many I'm going to end up having after I'm done with this series, but it is now up to 3. But I'm not complaining! I'm buckled in!
