This just isn’t for me. I’m not a classics girly. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great for me. I was bored all throughout and even though I was listening to the audiobook, I couldn’t force myself to finish it. DNFed at like 80% maybe?

This is definitely a classic, a must-read.
It is a must-read in that it contains several life lessons: It teaches not to be selfish and self-centred, to control one's own impulses of anger or annoyance or other, to be content and happy and feel grateful for what one has, and not to desire material riches but to realise that loved ones are one's greatest and most important resource.
Unfortunately the title "Little Women" makes many people think it's a "book for girls", hence pushing them away or making them lose any interest in the story. So I would like to encourage everyone who is interested in this book but is ashamed to read it for fear of what others might think to READ IT and comprehend and apply the lessons you learn and grow.
Also, Jo and Laurie's relationship is the best. I want to read more of it.

I've always loved watching film adaptations of Little Women and finally took the time to read it. It was very rewarding to discover more details about each of the characters. They were definitely more fleshed out and it was a joy to behold!
