I went in reading this short story thinking it would be the normal happy go lucky short stories it usually is - I was dead wrong. It literally reminded me of those few days before my own grandmother died and that made me miss her so much.
Abby Jimenez can make me feel so many emotions even thru short stories. I love how there’s that romance aspect in this book that made me forget I was sad as well. It was a roller coaster of emotion in such a short span of time.

I like the way that Abby Jimenez seems to write realistic, funny, complex and emotional characters. This is obviously a novella though, so it doesn't have everything of course. It was still fun and cute so that's why it's a 3 star for me!

I really loved this book a lot. It had me kicking my feet laughing at times, while at others I felt teary eyed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick but emotional read with romantic undertones.

this book is proof of how actions that seem so small to you can be what changes a stranger’s say. holly and john were kind to eachother even before knowing eachotherc that’s what made this book amazing. how both characters showed how naturally good they are
