 I'm honestly speechless. What an incredible read. Dare I say perfect writing. This book 100% lives up to the hype. Can't wait for November!

Well, this was as spectacular a story as everyone told me. Excellent knights of the round table retelling. High stakes and interesting history.

I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to read a book set in a very familiar place. UNC-Chapel Hill is super close to my hometown. I loved reading this book; it was a tough pill to swallow even though I’m well aware of UNC’s (ongoing) racist history/present. The way grief is covered, different types of trauma, and how race/gender in Southern societies is amazing. I can’t recommend this book enough.
