Lovers of animals, dogs, and underdogs will love this beautifully illustrated story! The rags to riches story was explained really well through words and art. This was a fun one to read to my daughter, the artwork is truly beautiful and she enjoyed the mother & daughter’s ending song. As far as songs in books go (other than those that we know the tune of) it would be fun to add in a link or QR code to listen to it being sung or played in some way. So that those of us with kids who make us sing the songs would know how it goes haha.
