We have started dabbling with slightly more frightening reads with the kids! This was a success. Not sure I'll get them watching a film version but they coped with Fleshlumpeater on the page.

This was one of my favourite books as a child, however reading it as an adult I noticed some problematic sexist/racist remarks which were definitely overlooked in 1982 when first published.

So fun and sweet. Some little concerning bits but that's probably expected. Really enjoyed BFG and Sophie's relationship 🥰
