It took me a bit to get into this book but once I did, I really enjoyed it! I loved how Elizabeth Zott didn’t stop fighting for what she wanted and what made her happy. Even when she had to do things that she didn’t necessarily want to do, she executed everything in her way!

I was just expecting it to be different than it was. Elizabeth and Calvin were cute but I didn’t expect their relationship to take up so much of this book. I kinda of…didn’t really care. 

It was too “quirky” for my taste.

First, the way Calvin died was dumb. He died by slipping on motor oil then getting run over by a police car, really? Second, we in turn get perspectives from the dog. Why am I in the pov of the dog?? Third, the fact she changed the inscription on his grave from a nice quote to a whole chemical formula for happiness. I’m sorry, I found it really dumb.

Sadly, this wasn’t it for me.
