I don't know what I just read. This book took taboo and ran with it. Their relationship is hot and I don't judge, but man, the whole age talk at the end kind of took a turn. Just be aware before you dive in.

Emery was given up at age 14 to the local orphanage after her mother dies. There she lives with Karen, who allows her to stay after she’s aged out of the system. One day Emery see’s a picture of energy mogul, Clark Carroway. Feeling drawn to him, Emery becomes obsessed, stalking Clark, even getting a job cleaning his house, and working for his company. When Emery’s supervisor is on vacation, Emery has the chance to be face to face with her obsession.
Clark Carroway needs inspiration. He’s overworked and seen as societies most eligible bachelor. He’s constantly asked for photographs, which he doesn’t feel comfy with. Clark feels like his soul mate is right around the corner, just out of his reach... like he’s missing something. Then Emery walks in and his entire world flips upside down. She thought she was obsessed. Clark is ready to show her how obsessed he is.
Jessa Kane is so good for a quick, smutty story. She definitely knows how to write the obsessed, possessive hero, and I’m here for it! I love a man that has lost his mind in a woman, and Clark is unstable without his angel. My only complaint about this is that the Daddy kink felt almost inappropriate lol. They were both of age, but it just... was a little too much for me in this one. If Jessa Kane could write a full length novel with no daddy kink I swear I’d snatch that shit up with the quickness!
