Yeah, okay, it was weird when he started talking about how much he loves watching beautiful Harvard undergraduates run 

This is kinda of exactly what you would expect it to be: a runner talking about running for 4.5 hours. This is the book I would write if I wasn’t aware that talking about running is insufferable… 

Every so often he would say something and I would be like ‘neat’. Could have been 1/2 the length I think… Kind of boring idk 2.5 stars

A beautiful piece of art by Murakami. The metaphors in this book were absolutely beautiful and he was right it does make you want to start running.
