I liked this one, it wasn’t the most gripping or romantic, so to me it kind of fell flat. I liked the plot

but didn’t love how we had no indication of a sibling until 3/4 of the way through the book.

I liked Sienna as a detective, and would be interested in another story or books about her and her partner Kat, like a women’s murder club series. Some of the details on how Sienna became involved in all stories seemed far fetched to me as well. The one police dept that would take her is from her home town? And they didn’t already know her? In what world. lol. 3.5/5

I give this book 4.25 ⭐️s. I’m a fan of Mia Sheridan’s writing style and this book did not disappoint. It was an engaging storyline that kept you guessing, and ended with a heartwarming ending.  Would definitely recommend!

Oh my god. This was amazing, once again Mia Sheridan has done it write. Initially I was scared to read this book because 1. I thought it was a thriller and 2. because it’s different than all her other books I have seen, which are dominantly romance novels. I’m so glad I trusted her and her writing and read this book cause it was a truly amazing and fascinating story.
