Not a bad book, just not a book for me. If you’re horny and you want to read a bunch of short stories about people f*cking all the time and having unrealistic happy ever afters then maybe you would throughly enjoy this book I guess 🤷🏽♀️

This is not a novel, I would put it on par with "Letters to Penthouse". Not to say there isn't a market for this, but...

I was curious of the novel that made Zane a Black household name during the 90s - 00s. Please note I am a sex positive Millennial who’s outright open sexually with her partner and friends, so take it with a grain of salt when I say, what a disappointment. This is the epitome of kinks and pleasure for some of y’all? This “shattered the myth” about what women want? Now, it’s not necessarily what was done in each story, but really how it was described.
The 18 year old who got married after a year to someone with a considerable age gap story? Cringe.
The “mature” woman whose man filled a water bottle with the rain that was pouring the night they had sex so he could “cherish it”? Eye ROLL.
The voyeur story was probably the only story that didn’t make me physically roll my eyes.
And the bachelorette “this last f**k saved my marriage” story? Girl, please.
There are so many better stories of pleasure that don’t put you to sleep. I try to keep in mind the type of time it was when this released, but honestly that’s no excuse for bad writing in my opinion.

Zane has alot of good books. After a few chapters I started getting tired of the stories..... But, over all its a pretty good book.

It is definitely another great book by Zane. Hot and steamy for sure. There were a lot of funny and eye-brow raising moments for me.

This book is a collection of erotica short stories catered to African Americans. It is beautiful, intense, harsh, raw, sensual and so much more. Great to read together with a partner. If you are just getting into erotica fiction this is a great starter. It has a forward that guides you and is very warm and welcoming. The short stories are also separated by Wild, Wilder and Off Da Damn Hook, so you can read out of order and at your own pace.
