some parts are boring. some are perfect. some parts are cute, others lack dynamic and plot. some are disappointing and upsetting (like mal getting so mad at sawyer for paying for her). also, it ended way too fast! sad. love sawyer and mal tho, they are the cutest, everything about their dynamic.

I’m easily cringed-out by romance books, but surprisingly I loved the romance and only cringed at a lot of the pop culture jokes and references that felt a bit forced and easily dated. That said, I see where the Ali Hazelwood hype comes from and this was a fun ride!
