I finally got to this Ali Hazelwood back list book and cannot believe I waited so long!! I loved the chess world and representation of females in that space. Mallory and Nolan's story is so sweet. He falls first, sort of enemies to lovers (enemies in the competitive sense). I was so excited for all the roller derby mentions from Mallory's sister.
I would read Ali's scribbles on a napkin and recommend all of her books!
