Throughly enjoyed Ito's version of Frankenstein. This dark, gothic classic paired well with Ito's horror style and he really got a chance to show off that body horror detail.

The collection included so much more as well.
I loved reading about Oshikiri - I had read Intruder in another of Ito's collections, but I liked learning more about his weird house and the strange and horrifying goings on.

I loved all the random extra short stories as well.

I just wanna say that Junji Ito is so cool cause he can take something that on a surface level, seems absolutely ridiculous, and treat it so deadly seriously that you go from 'haha what' to just 'what'.
