Well, this final book in this series did not disappoint! Jeri Westerson wrapped up this story and its world in spectacularly exciting fashion, and I loved every second of it!!

I have really enjoyed this series all the way along, and while I'm sad it's now over, I am very happy with the way storylines were resolved, worlds were saved, and couples got together. I won't say more about any of those to avoid spoilers for those who haven't yet gotten to this book, but suffice it to say, if you've enjoyed this series, you will not be disappointed in how it ends.

There were a couple of unexpected plot twists that I did not see coming, but they made perfect sense given what was going on.

I love that the humour that has been a feature of all these books, despite, you know, the world being at risk of being destroyed every 20 minutes, has continued throughout. It's very fun to have someone make a dark humour, snarky comment in the middle of a battle or whatever! That happens a lot in this series, and for me it's a big plus!

There was plenty of drama suspense and excitement in this final book, and I was on the edge of my seat more than once waiting to see how things would end. As noted earlier, I was not disappointed!

I loved this series start-to-finish, and highly recommend it for readers who like paranormal suspense, with strong female characters, plenty of action, and a plethora of supernaturals running amok and causing havoc for our intrepid heroine . . . and her demon!
