my man needs to put the metaphors AWAY. good god what a way to take me out of the story by overwhelming a reader with countless metaphors. too much fourth wall breaking, humor was not my style, prose felt more juvenile, story took over 100 pages to really get going, narrator is extremely annoying at many times, too much telling and not enough showing. first and probably only sanderson book i'll read.
