Another re-read to round out the month! Excited to read the companion series “Heroes of Olympus” next. As I was reading, the plot came back to me and while I didn’t remember everything, certain aspects I guessed as they happened, coming from my subconscious. And I loved that Percy and annabeth FINALLY got together (which is weird since this is a YA series, but I remember rooting for them and their romance when I was younger)!

i kind of forgot that the majority of this one is the final battle. i was kind of thrown off when i started it and it felt like we were immediately in manhattan gearing up for the battle. but it was fine because all of these books are paced so incredibly well throughout the series and within each individual book that you don’t really even notice when it jumps straight into things like that.

i will admit that i fully cried like a little baby because of this book. and if you’ve read this book you know exactly why/what i’m talking about.

now that i’ve fully finished the series, i’m debating whether or not to continue on to the hoo series. i guess i’ll figure that out. i love percabeth so much and i really just want more and i feel like that most of their really good content comes from hoo.
