This is a reread for me and the sh*t his dad says cracks me up. Their sense of humor and quirkiness reminds me a lot of my own family.

There is no better way to say this, but this a great fucking book! I could read this book over and over and over again and I still laugh at every part of this book. And I personally think that Justin's dad was very wise and a great parent in his way.

This wasn't really what I expected it to be, but that isn't completely a bad thing. I thought the book would be closer to a collection of quotes, but what we got was interesting and amusing as well with many anecdotes loosely focused around Halpern's relationship with his dad. I enjoyed the book even though Halpern wasn't always a character I could completely get behind.

Wonderfully hilarious! This book was given to me by one of my co-workers, who just so happens to share my sense of humor. Halpern's father reminds me of a foul-mouthed Archie Bunker and the author, his Meathead. Forget trying to read this book in public (or around people in general), unless you're willing to ignore the admonishing glares from strangers or, better yet, willing to read the book aloud to family and friends who want in on the "joke." A quick, but delightfully funny respite from the everyday banalities of life.
NOTE:
If the title is offensive to you, the rest of the book will certainly rouse your ire.
