Thoroughly enjoyable book, very easy to read. Would recommend to others as this appears to be a great series.

I initially hesitated to start this until I read a review that shared the Air Force aspect of the book. I am retired Air Force and it amuses me most times to see how AF or any military gets represented. So decided to start it as next book. And became intrigued by the mystery and premise as much as how Ms Harris describes various aspects of the Air Force and way of life of enlisted, officers, spouses, life on and off base, etc. I read the inside back cover to find the author is very knowledgeable about the life as she was an Air Force spouse. She also loves garage sales and so comes the verified atmosphere for the series.
The book is a bit choppy in places, but it can be easily glossed over as it was for me due to everything else that was delightfully done in the story. Sarah Winston felt real to me. She makes mistakes, she is a woman scorned but still wants to do the right thing for her ex-husband. She's not sure why, at least in the front of her mind. It's mostly subconsiously. She has really good friends and interesting foes. I like how her friend figures out a new career path for her now that she's a single woman.
I like that she's trying to figure out why she wants to stay in this town in Massachussetts even with her ex being the chief of police and all that's going on.
I look forward to the rest of the series as I find them. I can recommend this book, series and author.

This mystery kept me company during a long day at a hospital. Despite the stress of the situation, I found it difficult to put down. Unique and well-developed characters, an interesting plot, and multiple red herrings made it well worth my time. I'll definitely continue with this series.

This is a cute cozy mystery and enjoyable read. Like others, I had some issue with the choices that Sarah makes in the book, particularly in regards to the harassment she experiences. But I think the conflict she feels emotionally toward her ex-husband is very realistic. It’s easy to say what one would do in a similar situation, but much more difficult to carry through in reality. I enjoyed the tie in with garage sales and I think the setting was well-described. The book is well-edited. I’d definitely read the next book to see what happens to Sarah and CJ in the future.

This Is Nothing Like The Hallmark Movies!

For the most part I really enjoyed Tagged for Death the first book in the Sarah Winston Garage Sale mysteries. The book and the movies are two different things. I found the mystery a little darker, was not comfortable with the level of police harassment and one scene where Sarah was pushed by an officer. I did enjoy the pace of the mystery with plenty of red herrings and the characters were well written
