Such a slow slow burn. Really loved this one.
The banter was fun. The burn was slow. When it got steamy the spice level was just right.
These people felt real to me, which is rare lately.
I liked that for once the FMC had a boring day job to support her dream rather than the unrealistic idea that she could live alone in a big city while she waited for her big break.

I absolutely loved this book! The enemies to lovers angst, hate-hate, love-hate was perfection. The main character banter was hilarious and so enjoyable to read. The main characters were both really likeable, and it made the book such an easy read.

I really appreciated Gemma’s personal journey from ultra-independence to HEA - she was just a really relatable character.  Reid was an excellent balance of smug and charming - LOVE! Their chemistry - chef’s kiss. Can’t wait for the next Stephanie Archer read!
