Abel Abbott is so freaking adorable. A gentleman outside the bedroom but inside...
Together, Red and Abel are such a fun and exciting couple. From their fake relationship to the hurdles they faced on the way, they didn't fail to be such a wholesome pair. Cant wait to read Mae and October's story!

3.5⭐️ I liked it but (small but)

Overall i thought their relationship was sweet, but there were a good amount of things i didn’t like : mainly the third act breakup was so stupid, i love a good angsty third act breakup but the whole he’s-cheating-but-actually-that’s-his-sister is a big no for me, especially because i don’t understand why it hasn’t been discussed ?? there was no reason for the lack of communication between the two main characters.

Apart from that, one thing i did like was the mfcs relationship with her sister, especially that one moment when she’s confessing to her sister that part of the reason she said yes to fake date the mmc is so that she would get his house across the street from sister, which is her dream, and the sister admits that she had already bought a whole ass house for her next door because that also her dream, I just (i do think that’s a weird dream but hey it’s the thought that counts)

It’s a quick and mindless read with a good fake dating trop, go for it if that’s what you’re looking for

to whoever reshared an aesthetics post on twitter for 'the fantasy league' - i love you and may your pillow be cold on both sides.

from the first chapter, i was hooked. genuinely. i think it's important to say i am a hater first and i could not find one thing to hate about this book.

the characters are so multi-dimensional and the way meg translates feelings into words is beyond amazing. i could feel abel fall more and more in love with her, i could feel scarlett's confusion and frustration at certain points in the book.

i loved their dynamic and their banter. it really translated well when i was reading.
