DNF : This was just too straightforward for me. Like where is the subtility ?? This is not the kind of boy obsessed I want sorry
4.5⭐️
LOVE. Favourite book so far.
Abel was forced to get a girlfriend for his image. (This some bullshit) He asked his chef-Scarlett- if they want to fake date and he promised her his house he was living in. Because she and her sister wanted to live across from eachother this was a perfect plan. She of course took his offer.
Who would’ve thought a book like this was as spicy as it was. I’ve never imagined that It was THIS spicy.
I loved their relationship. They were both sarcastic and funny. I truly believe that they would last forever.
I wished this book was longer. WAY longer. You know a book is good when you want MORE.
only 4.5 and not 5 stars because of the thing with his sister and he didn’t tell Scarlett before he released a statement in a magazine. I knew he would never cheat on her but in that article was a Foto with him and Aera sitting in a restaurant and it a bit sus but I had faith in my brother.

“I only offered you the job because I wanted to see you every day until I worked up the courage to ask you out,” he whispered against my neck.
Scarlett is on the verge of quitting her personal chef gig—she’s over her silent football player boss that she is sure hates her and her cooking. Abel is a football player who is swimming in nerves about his pretty personal chef—he needs to ask her out, but can barely form sentences around her at this point. Add a pinch of helpful meddling and you’ll see these two fake dating until the relationship feels anything but fake.
Scarlett is a fun heroine. I enjoyed her energy and general vibe. Her relationship with her sister/best friend is enviable. Abel is an adorable train wreck of pinning at the beginning, but watching him truly fall in love alongside her was the sweetest. I look forward to reading more in this series.

5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I devoured this fun he falls first, fake dating book. The football player that needs a date to make his team family values vibe and his personal chef he is obsessed with is delightful. The banter is there with great side characters that I cannot wait to read the stories of, plus the focus is the relationship not endless football stuff. There is a third act miscommunication breakup but it is resolved quickly and semi understandably, nice if there was slightly more grovel. New author to follow!
