I liked this one slightly less than the first two. The main issue was that I didn't really like her girlfriend. I get the vibe, like she was supposed to be more fun and free in comparison but I just didn't really vibe with her as much as Saeki. Still a good story over all.

This entire book series is great. It complements and surpasses the original series fleshing out Sayaka's character. Which really made me root for her!

oh god. the conclusion to sayaka's queer experience literally made me so emotional. i didn't expect to cry at the end, but her character resonated with me so much.

When you fall in love with someone, it's as though you are reaching towards a star. I pretended I hadn't noticed that I never seemed to reach it, no matter how much I reached my hand towards it.

...

And if you did reach one, the star would lose its light and simply settle into the commonplace within your hands.
