This story manages to be both epic and intensely personal in only 250 pages. The structure could be somewhat confusing to some readers, but it builds suspense and anticipation while keeping the reader engaged with these women's lives.

A sad but poignant story about 2 women whose lives collide crossing the Mexico/US border. This story really brings some humanity to the immigration battle. Beautifully written and touching.

I finished this beautiful and heartbreaking book in one day because I just couldn't put it down. I loved it! It's definitely going to stay with me for awhile.
