Kind of annoying at times, but I loved the main character and was rooting for her the whole time!

Not my kind of book. It is exactly what it claims, I just thought I might like it. It's rather predictable and a bit fluffy.

Bailed a quarter of the way in because it was boring as hell.

This was just fun, chick lit kind of book. It is about a transplanted West Coaster. She moves to New York City and is hit hard in the face with the NYC mom culture. She learns that not only do she and her toddler daughter not dress right, but her daughter is destined to fail because she isn't on any of the posh preschool waiting list. As is necessary in these types of books, she has a nemesis in the form of the perfectly coiffed Bee who seems to have it all together (apart from suffering form Mean Girl Syndrome). If you're looking for a quick, cute read, this will do the trick!

Another one where I wish I could give 2.5 stars. I hated the first 20ish pages, but the book grew on me fast. Hannah is an extremely likable narrator. I really liked her. The book was very cliche with major plot reveals you could see coming from the opening chapter, but for a fun summer read while sitting outside in the park- I enjoyed it!

A serious LOL book. There were points in which I teared up and at the end I was honestly sad it was over. Now I must go read every book this woman wrote :)

Not my favorite. Not great writing and way too over the top but a quick, easy read.

The TV show Odd Mom Out (which I love) is based off of this book. It was a fun read, and I could identify with some of her issues of being a mom and also of trying to make friends with other moms.

Vapid and shallow and was that redundant? It was a fast easy read, mindlessly (mildly) entertaining and all of the characters were annoying. Like others, the typos were awful and often. I was relieved the main character was redeemed but not until the very. End!!

Typical chick lit book about crazy rich moms in New York City and a California girl who moves to NYC. She doesn't fit in with them at all and the book is about her struggle with her new city and being a stay at home mom. I could identify with certain things in the book and am thankful I don't have to deal with many of the things that take place. Makes me like the Midwest even more! Entertaining, quick, but predictable read.
