The characters in this novella are quite remarkable. The plot itself was interesting and fast paced, but it was the characters that drew me in from page one and kept me turning page after page until I have finished the whole novella. I was left feeling the need to know more, to read more about those characters. Thus, I would certainly hunt down any books that are released as part of this series just so I can spend more time with those characters.

Legion needs a TV show. Like right now.

Interesting character concept, but didn't do as much with it as he could. Probably too much to try to squeeze into a short story.

I really enjoy Brandon Sanderson's books, but I just did not care for this novella. I would rather focus on his full-length works.

An interesting, if strange, idea. I think this was actually too short, and probably needed more development to be sufficiently compelling.

Not much going on here.. Pretty short and sweet. Interesting concept, well written and entertaining. Three stars is about as high as I can go though, because like I said.. Not much going on here. I did enjoy it though.

3.5/5 me gusto mucho

“Legion" is the first Sanderson book that I read. I had high expectations, but I was disappointed. It could’ve been such a good book!

The main reason I did not like this book was due to its premise. The author could’ve taken the story in any direction, but he chose to dabble in religions. If religion plays such a major role in a story, I want to know about it from the get go. There is no mention of religions in the blurb; they only mention the multiple personalities, which is genuinely a good plot for a detective novel.

The book was more about religion than Legion and his multitude of personalities. Muslims, unsurprisingly, portrayed as the antagonists. I would’ve absolutely enjoyed the book if not for the direction Sanderson chose for it.
