Some great, some fell flat.

My favorite is the story about Pluto!

I enjoyed all of Nick Offerman’s parts and about half of the stories.

Funny, one story had me in stitches. Others we cute but not laugh out loud humor for me. Some were too absurd for me. The performance on audible was good.

You're warned at the beginning that these are crass retellings of children's tales and they deliver. They're strange and bizarre; not to be taken seriously. At all. Whatsoever. There's no point other than how to outlandish the story before it.

If you're looking for something with substance or a moral, I'd advise not investing in it.

Enjoyed the stories narrated by Mike Birbiglia, Aparna Nancherla, and Matt Walsh the best.

As cynical short story collections go, I thought this was pretty funny. I would have liked more Sir Patrick Stewart and Anjelica Huston though...

Most of the stories were pretty entertaining. A fresh way to look at old stories. Or a fucked up way to look at stories in general. I liked it.

This is not for the easily offended. Snarky, irreverent, dark, twisted takes on some well known fairy tales. Perfect listen if you are in a lousy mood-I was laughing hysterically often. If you like adult cartoon humor you will enjoy this. The performances are all great. As in almost all “collections” some of the stories stand out over others, but all of them are worthy of being included.

I expected more out of this. A lot of great narrators - but the stories weren't as entertaining and engaging as I thought they would be.
