Oof, was looking forward to this collection of short stories as I really need to laugh these days. But I don’t think I laughed at all?? This comedy turned into a tragedy quickly, I wouldn’t recommend it.

I mostly enjoyed the book, but an hour of the humor was satisfying and 2.5 hours was more than enough. For me this was just too much of a good thing. I finished the book today, and the only story I can remember from the whole book is the one from the dog's point of view. Nothing else stuck. I did enjoy Nick Offerman as the host; his dry wit makes me laugh.

Well narrated, but I didn't like the stories. Gave it a 2 because ONE story was pretty danged great (training pamphlet for aliens). Otherwise, I guess I'm not cynical enough.

Not sure what’s up with the ratings but I thoroughly enjoyed this Audible Original.
I hate to give it such a low rating.
I really love the performers who contributed to the work. All of them did excellent jobs with what they were given. What I didn't like was the stories. I'm a cynic but these stories (for the most part) weren't cynical, they were upsetting.

Every story started out great! Lol But I have no idea how any of them ended. And I'm OK with that. At least I know if I need help falling asleep, I can put these stories in my ear.
