bit of a disappointment. i think i would’ve enjoyed it more if i could get more on board with the style of prose. it’s good if you like that sort of thing though.

This is the 4th book in the series and I’ve loved them all. Somehow they are quietly comforting to me - especially the main character Lucy Barton. I listened on audio and also find the narrators voice comforting. This particular novel was set during the pandemic and it was strange, unpleasant, and comforting to “re-live” it through the story.
