I found this book really interesting to delve into the mind of an autistic person. The author does an excellent job of taking his experience working with autistic people, and creating it from their perspective.

This has been on my TBR forever, and it was such a unique listen! The narrator did an amazing job!
As a mom of 2 kiddos on the spectrum, to me, autism was very accurately portrayed. Everything in their brilliant minds is quite literally, black & white, and the majority of the time, no filter, which leads to some giggles!

A wonderfully written glimpse into the mind of neuro diversity. A few bits that didn't add up or made sense (for example not liking yellow or brown foods but liking biscuits and packing some custard creams at one point). But generally a great story if not a bit sad to start and pretty depressing that killing a dog is apparently a little crime that the police don't care about. I did nearly spit out my tea when a ticket to London was Β£20 as well. Had to go and look when the book was written π I do wonder if it actually was that cheap even back in 2005 or whenever it was though.
