One of my least favorite things is when authors create strong, independent female characters and then make them codependent and weak once they fall in love. The beginning of this book had those vibes and I, once again, considered dnfing, but I genuinely really liked the middle and end of this book. I'm also a sucker for art work and her books are full of truely amazing pieces. She also utilizes music in such a beautiful way and I really enjoyed it.
