the prose and setting of this book were beautiful throughout- i love books about long journeys, and sleeping in the wild. the arthurian myths mixed into it were fun. despite this, i did not feel particularly emotionally driven by this book, and so some of the harder hitting moments didn't feel very hard hitting.

the ending of the book did make me squawk, though- THAT'S gonna be the ending???

The beginning and end of the book are gripping, the rest is a drag.

Weird rhythm and takes a moment to get into, but pretty interesting story and subtext

I was interested in the mist at the start - but the ending/explanation felt like it fell flat
