Okay I loved the first book way more. I did enjoy lark as a character and Lachlan as well. I just felt like it dragged. It took me a couple days to finish compared to the one day it took me to finish the first one. The ending was bomb so I’ll give it a 3.5. I am excited to read about Fionn and rose. Also I loved the bonus chapter we got !

I enjoyed the continuation of plot from the first book! It fell a bit short for me in the cohesiveness of plot, but still a good enemies to lovers story. The audiobook was a bit cringy in the spicy scenes for me, but to each their own! Ready for book 3.

Lark, our DIY loving seria-er… I mean MULTIPLE DELETER is faced with a difficult choice: Marry the hot Irishman who gives Keanu Reeves vibes and legit would move mountains for her, but is kinda lowkey an asshat OR risk her BFF’s husband being yeeted into the recycle bin by her Muffin Mafia family. Mmmm what’s a girl to do!? *sighs* I suppose she’ll have to bite the bullet and say “I do”, no way this doesn’t work out in her favor right? (Also I still really want pizza, 0-2 Brynne. Better luck next time.)
